Wow, what a wonderful weekend!
Thank you to everyone who came to participate, cheer on a curler or hang out with family and friends. Based on all the feedback we’ve heard, we’re optimistic that everyone who attended the 72nd Alberta JC Bonsiel had an enjoyable time, shared some laughs and partook in the amazing food and beverages. We hope you head home with sore curling muscles, full bellies, and a handful of new memories. We would like to congratulate all the event winners as well as the 2026 Hall-Of-Fame inductees, Gene Yamada, Masaye Tanaka & Lenny Tateyama.
We look forward to seeing you back in Calgary to celebrate the 75th Alberta JC Bonspiel in 2029.

“HISTORICAL LEGACY PROJECT”
FOR THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE
“ALBERTA J.C. BONSPIEL”
IN CALGARY IN 2029.
In anticipation of the 75th anniversary event, we have started a new project to capture the rich history of Alberta J.C. Bonspiel. We cannot do it without your help; therefore, we are asking all curlers to reach out to family and look through family albums, memorabilia, news articles or provide any interesting stories you would like to share about the bonspiel.
Some options to forward information such as pictures, news articles, memorabilia or stories are the following:
a. Bring your items to future bonspiels.
b. Email
c. Text
d. Mail
If you are sending pictures from your cell phone of loose photos, documents or photos in an album, we recommend using a free app called PhotoScan, which will create a higher quality photo without a glare.
